All too often I find myself taking hundreds, literally hundreds, of pictures of Prince. He has never been camera shy. Pull out a camera and he has three poses positioned and he even says cheese to make sure his smile is just right.
I recently took him out to the park after a streak of cold weather and the result were amazing.
During the shoot I captured Prince climbing this gorgeous stone wall but the truly amazing thing was he wasn’t really trying to conquer, or climb, the wall he was trying to understand its existence. He observed every inch of the walls texture and color, the moss that was grew from its bosom, and the leaves that took rest on its lap.
That day Prince helped me to understand, true beauty is in the recognition of the world around us and understanding that we are only a part of a larger piece that was and will be here long past our visit. Thank you Prince!
